Reduced, earthy, timeless: The Lava BOWL brings the quiet craftsmanship and rugged beauty of the South to your table.

Each bowl is hand-formed on a potter's wheel in the Parisian studio Studio Racines. Designer Philipp Kopatz leaves room for the essentials: clay, form, structure. This creates an object that brings warmth and originality to everyday life.

Whether with lemons, fresh fruit or completely plain: The Lava BOWL is reminiscent of the simple things that are appreciated in the south - clear shapes, honest materials, the traces of the hand.

Made from high-quality, black, chamotte stoneware clay and fired at 1300 °C, it possesses an exceptional density, high resistance and a pleasantly earthy feel.

Unlike many industrially manufactured bowls, which may contain harmful substances such as lead, barium or other heavy metals in the glazes, the Lava BOWL is completely free of harmful substances, food-safe and safe for everyday use.

The inside is glazed with a shiny, transparent glaze – free of any harmful substances – while the outside remains raw, allowing the natural structure of the clay to be visible and tangible.

• Use: food-safe, dishwasher-safe (gentler washing program and non-aggressive detergents recommended), not microwave-safe, oven-safe up to max. 100 °C

It is recommended to avoid contact between the raw outer surface and very greasy substances. Any residue can be removed with a mild cleaner.

Each Lava BOWL is unique. Slight variations in shape, color and surface are part of the special quality and expression of true craftsmanship.
